This portrait is a visual testament to the current residents of Dynów whom I have come to know over the time spent on my three trips to Dynów. In addition to forging friendships, these residents helped me trace the places where my family lived, went to school, and in the case of the unfortunate victims - were rounded up and murdered. In addition, some of these people helped me ascertain documents in local archives. One of them, a retired English teacher, assisted me by translating crucial conversations. I owe a lot to my friends from Dynów in the development of this project.
